“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination, and life to everything.” ~ Plato ~
Founded in 2006, the Holy Name Conservatory of Music offers private lessons in piano, violin and voice to Holy Name School students, its alumni and parishioners. All students are invited to participate in the Conservatory’s program of recitals and in the Liturgy Program of the Parish throughout the year.
The Conservatory promotes individual and community growth through music and is committed to the highest quality of education. Our distinguished faculty members hold advanced degrees from top conservatories and universities. They also maintain active and prestigious performing careers. All our faculties are dedicated to bringing music into the lives of those they teach—from the beginning student just starting out to the advanced student contemplating a career in music.
Private instrumental or voice lessons are at the center of every musician’s education and are essential to developing a lifelong love of music. The Conservatory offers private instruction to students ages five through adult in piano, violin, or voice. Our teachers tailor private lessons to address the learning style and goals of each student, from the beginner to the advanced student aspiring for a career in music.
Equal emphasis is placed on developing technical proficiency, interpretive skills, individual creativity, and self-confidence. Our students are encouraged to participate in the Grand Recital at the end of the school year, and many other performance opportunities through out the school year.
